RE: UPDATE TO MISSING JUVENILE - ALISA PETROV

SOUTH JORDAN, UT - May 20, 2025

The South Jordan Police Department has identified an adult male, Matthew Nicholas Menard from Miami, Florida.

Through the investigation, Police have filed charges on Menard for

Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, Enticement of a Minor, and Criminal Solicitation.

Further investigation has identified a second adult male, William Taylor Glines from Texas City, Texas. Through the investigation, Police have filed charges on Glines for Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, Attempted Aggravated Exploitation of a Minor, Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, Enticement of a Minor, and Criminal Solicitation

Both Menard & Glines communicated with Alisa Petrov prior to her leaving school on April 21, 2025. South Jordan Police will continue to work with our Law Enforcement partners in Florida & Texas for further action on the above-related charges.

South Jordan Police will continue its efforts to locate Alisa and follow other leads.

Alisa is attempting to meet individuals she met online using multiple social media platforms and chat applications.

Alisa is listed as a Runaway Juvenile who is endangered. Any knowledge of her whereabouts should be reported to Law Enforcement immediately.
