Glass Recycling

The City of South Jordan offers Glass Recycling Service for all City residents and businesses. The City has partnered with Momentum Recycling, ACE Disposal and Live Daybreak, to provide a service that will help our community, and the environment. The ability to keep glass out of the landfill is a long-term benefit and solution in trying to build a better tomorrow.

The city does not allow glass in curbside recycling because the main recycling facilities in the area aren’t equipped to handle glass. We are able to coordinate drop-off locations using a third-party recycler.

Glass Recycling Drop-Off Locations:

City Park: 1850 West 10960 South

Glass Recycling is located west of the tennis courts and south of the city Animal Control Building.

Daybreak Soda Row: 4600 West 11240 South

Daybreak Soda Row Glass Recycling Location

Glass Recycling is located east of Soda Row in-between 11400 South, on the east side of the Cupbop parking lot and west of the Clear Blue Drive.

Highland Park: 11288 Kitty Hawk Rd.

Highland Park Glass Recycling Location

Glass Recycling is located at the east corner of the Highland Park parking lot.

Shields Lane Park: 947 West 9850 South

Shields Lane Park Glass Recycle Location

Glass Recycling is located on the west side of the river on the south side of Shields Lane (9800 S.) in the Jordan River Trail parking lot.
