South Jordan City, or "SoJo," is nestled in the Salt Lake Valley between the Wasatch Mountains on the East and the Oquirrh Mountains on the West. Downtown Salt Lake City is approximately 18 miles from SoJo, and the Salt Lake Regional Airport is approximately 19 miles away. South Jordan is proud of its beautifully maintained City. According to Money Magazine, SoJo was voted one of the "Top 20 best places to live in America" in 2010, 2012, and 2014.

The Daybreak planned community is a 4,200-acre subdivision in South Jordan. Its many features include parks, single-family homes, apartments, condos, townhomes, retirement communities, Oquirrh Lake, and Soda Row.
Arts / Theatres
South Jordan City is committed to advancing the arts in all its forms within the community. The South Jordan Arts Council was formed to host and sponsor art exhibits, arts-oriented special events, and educational arts activities throughout the year. The South Jordan City Arts Council is a dedicated group of appointed volunteers that also offers small grants to a variety of performing arts and arts/education programs. South Jordan will also be home to the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Arts Center, a regional performing arts center, in the new urban center in Daybreak.
